Paul’s on the South River is a restaurant in Riva, Maryland, that mom and dad have been going to for 22 years.  Their last night for business was Saturday, 26 December 2009.  Mom and dad invited all the kids and grandkids down for one last meal there.

Paul’s became mom and dad’s “place”.  They dined there virtually every Saturday for over two decades.  They hosted wedding receptions, retirement parties and anniversary parties there.  The service was great and the menu very good.  Probably the best thing was that the bartenders knew how to make mom’s cocktail of choice, the dry Rob Roy.
